Specific examples include allergies, sore throat, UTI’s, colds, fever, eye or ear infections, plus many other ailments. Should a member present a case that requires further examination, the consulting physician may recommend that the patient see a primary care physician.
Teladoc staffs over 3,000 experienced board-certified physicians to ensure the best care for our members. In addition to treating non-emergent conditions, members can receive on-demand access to specialized care through mental health, substance abuse and dermatological providers on the same platform.
*Specialized care is subject to an additional charge that may be paid through insurance or self-pay methods. (PayPal, Debit or Credit Card)
With physician consultations a mere phone call or mouse-click away, you or your family can enjoy ultimate peace of mind. All Teladoc services maintain patient confidentiality and conform to HIPAA guidelines

Not only will you receive On-Demand medical care from Board Certified Physicians, but the doctor will be able to prescribe medication and electronically forward the order to your preferred pharmacy.

Information Consultations (General Medical Advice)
If you have a medical question that only a doctor can answer, we offer the convenience of an on-demand access to physicians for general advice and recommendations regarding a range of routine medical conditions.

Diagnostic Consultation
For in-depth consultations, including prescription requests or refills, we offer any time access to physicians over the phone. Our user-friendly patient dashboard gives you all the tools you need to schedule an appointment in minutes.

Members are required to complete a comprehensive medical history questionnaire prior to participating in a diagnostic consultation. The questionnaire, similar to the information provided during an initial physician visit, becomes a permanent part of the member’s electronic medical record and is available to be updated by the member at any time. Prior to every diagnostic medical consultation, the automated system will ask the member if there are any changes or updates to the medical history on file.

Diagnostic Consultation (Video)
Live video consultations are the most effective way to diagnose and treat illnesses from a distance. That’s why TeleMedecine Plus has made them an integral part of our TeleMedecine platform. Our platform combines high-quality video, advanced audio and secure data transmission to effectively simulate in-person consultations.

Our Electronic Health Record system is a powerful, HIPAA compliant feature that centralizes and simplifies your healthcare management. Before consulting with a physician, we suggest that our members complete a comprehensive health history profile. The information submitted to each profile is secure and confidential, and is automatically filed as a permanent part of your Electronic Health Record and is available to be updated at any time. Each and every one of your consultations, the doctor’s notes (including diagnosis, treatments, and prescriptions) and follow-up discussions will be recorded and saved to our Electronic Health Record online available for each member of the family.

This record can be shared with your primary care physician, ensuring proper documentation, transferability, and continuity of care. Each time you log in, you’ll have complete access to detailed records of every physician encounter you’ve ever had on our site.

Free RX WellCard gives our members access to top-quality prescription medications discount up to 50% to 70% in savings, vision and dental are included. It’s all part of our empowering health and wellness program designed to help you reduce out-of-pocket health care costs for our members.

  • Over 59,000 nationwide pharmacies accept WellCard Health with availability for mail order and specialty pharmacy services.
  • Members save on all brand name and generic drugs with our pre-negotiated discounts
  • One card automatically covers all family members living at the same address.

*This plan is not insurance.
*The plan provides discounts at certain healthcare providers for prescription and some medical services.

Network Physicians providing medical consultations for members may offer prescriptions* at their discretion for a wide range of products that deliver direct medicinal value. These include, but are not limited to, drug classes such as antibiotics and antihistamines. Convenience prescriptions for maintenance medicines may also be obtained in cases where a member is in transition to a new insurance plan or doctor. In the event a physician does prescribe medication, he/she will usually limit the supply to no more than thirty days. Patients with chronic illnesses should visit their primary care physicians or other specialists for extended care.

Teladoc’s network physicians do not issue prescriptions for substances regulated by the DEA, those used for a non-therapeutic purpose and/or those substances which may be harmful (potential for abuse or addiction).

* There is no guarantee that a prescription will be issued on any medical consultation and prescriptions will only be used if the physician is able to gather the appropriate information to accurately diagnose and treat a given condition. Physicians will refer patients to their primary care physician or appropriate level of care when indicated.
